Prosser is a nice wooded neighborhood just northeast of Truckee off Hwy 89. Prosser Lakeview Estates and Prosser Lake Acreage are two neighborhoods offering properties zoned for horses. Equestrian trails, hiking, and cross-country skiing are nearby, as is downtown Truckee. Prosser Reservoir is popular for boating and fishing. This area is popular with year-round residents.

The location feels hidden away yet with close proximity to Northstar, Squaw Valley, and Alpine Meadows ski resorts, as well as access to Reno via I-80. Home prices are in the moderate range.
