Located just a mile southwest of Lake Tahoe via Route 89 is Fallen Leaf Lake. It’s a beautiful lake and a great place to beat the crowds of Lake Tahoe.

Here you will find a small close-knit community with a mix of new construction among older cabins. There is a small private beach as well as a smaller public beach.

Hiking opportunities are everywhere here. Points of interest are the Glen Alpine resort, built in the 1800’s and a natural soda spring. Fishing and water activities are also plentiful.
