Just east of Tahoe City are Lake Forest, Dollar Point, and The Highlands. These peaceful neighborhoods with wide streets are home to many year-round residents and have middle and high schools close by. Many properties have lake views.

Dollar Point is a highly desirable neighborhood on the North Shore. Owners have access to their own homeowner’s association swimming pool, tennis courts, sandy beach, pier, and buoy field.

Lake Forest homes are primarily older cabins and single-family homes, some with recent upgrades.

The Highlands have a suburban feel. Homes here are well-maintained and many are either newer or many have recently been completely remodeled.

These neighborhoods enjoy close proximity to dining and shopping in Tahoe City. There is even a bike path from Dollar Point to Tahoe City. Three of Tahoe’s world-class ski resorts are just a short drive away.
