While South Lake Tahoe’s Country Club Estates features streets named after popular golf courses, this particular neighborhood doesn’t have an actual Country Club. However, it is within close proximity to 2 well-known public golf courses: Lake Tahoe and Tahoe Paradise. This area is loved by its residents for its close proximity to all the best that Lake Tahoe living is known for ski resorts, beaches, hiking, biking, golfing, and quick access to shopping, dining, schools, and main roads.

Country Club Estates started receiving attention from builders back in the 2000’s thanks to the large sloping lots that provide gorgeous views of Mt. Tallac and Crystal Mountain, resulting in the development of larger, more modern mountain homes. There are still older, smaller homes in this area that are affordable. However, this particular neighborhood does generally have a higher price point.
